THERE IS A SIGNIFICANT DIFFERENCE, OCCASIONALLY WITH OVERLAP, BETWEEN A PASSION TO MAKE MONEY VERSUS A PASSION TO PERFORM AN ACTIVITY WHICH MAKES MONEY.

The significant difference is that if one activity does not make money, or stops making money, the person with a passion to make money will easily migrate to something else (whether knowledgeable or passionate about it or not) which has a better opportunity to make a profit.
A passion to perform an activity, often means that the person will pursue that passion, regardless of profitability.
