Our high school English teachers or college rhetoric teachers may have instructed us to improve how we deliver our messages by writing more precisely, and using fewer words. Likewise, all of us can speak more precisely, and conserve words in order to achieve these same goals.

SOME PEOPLE LEARN LIFE’S LESSONS BY READING, WATCHING, LISTENING, AND SPEAKING WITH OTHERS. OTHER PEOPLE LEARN THEIR LIFE LESSONS BY DOING AND EXPERIENCING (often, requiring repeated exposures). OUR PARENTS HOPE THAT THE FORMER IS ENOUGH FOR US, BUT MANY OF US SEEM TO RESPOND ONLY TO THE LATTER.
