THERE IS A PARADOX IN PERSONAL FINANCE…SOMETIMES WE ARE SO BUSY (with work, family, community, health) THAT WE UNINTENTIONALLY WASTE A SIGNIFICANT AMOUNT OF MONEY IN MANY ASPECTS OF OUR LIVES SUCH AS WITH DELAYING EQUIPMENT MAINTENANCE AND REPAIRS, CREATING EXCESSIVE WASTE, ACCUMULATING SPEEDING OR PARKING TICKETS, OVERDRAFT CHARGES, PENALTIES, INTEREST PAYMENTS, AS WELL AS MISSING OPPORTUNITIES TO MAKE MORE MONEY OR OPPORTUNITIES TO IMPROVE OUR RELATIONSHIPS, HEALTH, AND LIVES. ADDITIONALLY, FROM ALL THE STRESS OF WORKING SO HARD, WE ENGAGING IN EXCESSIVE DRINKING OF ALCOHOL, INCREASED EATING OUT OR ORDERING OUT, AND EXCESSIVE SPENDING IN ORDER TO SOOTHE OUR FRAYED NERVES, AS WELL AS REWARD OURSELVES FOR ENDURING PAIN, DISCOMFORT, AND DELAYED GRATIFICATION.
