Emptying one’s mind requires thinking about the act of emptying and the maintaining of that emptiness.
Being, “in the moment” is not emptying one’s mind. Being in the moment fills our minds with the thoughts and actions of that moment. Actually, this is a method of distracting us from the simultaneous immediacy of the rest of our needs, and of the needs and distractions provided by the rest of the world.
