SOME OF MY ROUTINE QUESTIONS WHEN I INITIALLY INTERVIEW OUR TREATMENT RESISTANT, DEPRESSED PATIENTS:

Do you think you’re a good person?

What do you believe happened (if anything) to your body, spirit, or mind that led to your coming to see us about your depression? Why do you think you are depressed? (For now, disregard what medical professionals have told you, tested you for, or treated you for.)

When was the last time you felt, “good”, “good enough”, or “better than” you feel today?
