SO MANY PEOPLE WITH PROCRASTINATION HAVE A SIGNIFICANT STREAK OF PERFECTIONISM (not for most of the things in their lives, but just for a few things). THE ABILITY TO RECOGNIZE THIS AND TO ASK FOR, AND TO ACCEPT HELP IS THE FIRST STEP TO IMPROVING THEIR SITUATIONS. THE NEXT STEP IS TO FORGIVE THEMSELVES FOR THEIR IMPERFECTIONS, WHILE STILL BEING ABLE TO START AND WORK ON A PROJECTS WITHOUT ALL THE TOOLS, KNOWLEDGE, GAME PLANS, OR HELP, BEING IN PLACE, FROM THE START.

This is how we learn, and iterate (repeat efforts after small changes are made due to lessons learned).

Making educated mistakes, learning, and repeating one’s efforts, in better directions with better information, is key to getting started, and eventually, reaching one’s goals.
