IT IS UNSETTLING TO QUESTION EVERYTHING THAT WE THINK THAT WE KNOW. EVEN IF WE CONCLUDE THAT OUR UNDERSTANDINGS WERE ALREADY CORRECT, THERE IS AN ENORMOUS DIFFERENCE BETWEEN TAKING RESPONSIBILITY AND COMING TO OUR OWN CONCLUSIONS, VERSUS, BLINDLY PARROTING AND ACCEPTING WHAT WE HAVE BEEN TAUGHT.
